Head of Latter Day Church of Jesus Christ Calls for End of Rioting, Prayer for Victims

Prophet, Seer and Revelator of the Latter Day Church of Jesus Christ, Matthew Gill, has appealed for calm in London and other cities affected by the rioting and violence of recent days.

His message follows:

“Pillaging and violence are before us, and strife and contention arise. The violence, destruction of property and disregard for civil society we have witnessed in recent days is truly shocking to all men and women of conscience throughout the land.

I call on all who cherish and labour for peace to pray for those effected by this outburst of violence, including those who have lost their livelihoods, their businesses and their homes.
